Natalee Marquez

Natalee Marquez is an art therapist with the Florida State University/Florida Department of Corrections Art Therapy in Prisons Program, where she provides art therapy services across two male correctional institutions in Southwest Florida. Her approach focuses on using creative, trauma-informed interventions to support individuals in navigating emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal challenges within a secure setting.

During graduate school, Natalee completed her practicum and internship in a court-ordered treatment setting serving individuals who have sexually offended. Since then, she has worked with clients ranging from children to adults and across genders in both community-based and private practice settings. Her diverse clinical experience informs a flexible, person-centered approach to art therapy, allowing her to adapt interventions to the unique needs, strengths, and circumstances of each individual.
